Next on the docket is veteran Emma Stone, who will be hosting alongside Noah Kahan as musical guest. Stone is part of the SNL family (through marriage) and a real fan of the show, but will anything she does be able to top “The Actress” or “Wells for Boys” without Julio Torres in the writers’ room? The following week has Adam Driver with Olivia Rodrigo, then closing out the year is Kate McKinnon with Billie Eilish. Both McKinnon and Eilish did work on the Barbie movie, with McKinnon playing Weird Barbie and Eilish penning “What Was I Made For?” Did we really think the Barbie well had run dry after “I’m Just Pete”?
